This was an easy fit up after all the small problems of room to place components were solved.
The activator and vac tank where fitted under the tail fin after the divider was cut out.
The removal of the hand grips is needed to place the activator but where refitted later.

I used a FJR bar mount bracket fitted to the left riser this was placed upside down to
clear the high beam switch and twisted a little to the right to clear the screen with the steering lock on.
The pad was fitted upside down to put the resume switch closer to the hand. I opened the pad up and
used RTV sealant to seal out moisture from rain and alike.

It was thinking time when it come to fit the cable to the throttle linkage as room under the tank
on the fj is minimal. A small ball race pulley was sauced from a boat supplier and fitted to the heat shield.
This changed the direction of pull and eliminated sharp bends in the activator cable.
Vacuum is drawn from 1 and 4 cylinders via the balance tubes.

I use a very small cable clamp to join the cables above the throttle cam.
The unit is programmed to run off Tach only and after a test ride the only adjustment needed
was to switch the activator to a low sensitivity setting. Engine braking holds set speed even on
steep down hill sections and the set speed stays to with in 3kmph even on big hills.
Very happy with it BUT along ride has yet to be under taken.
Will update after..
Update 7/6/2008
Covered alot of miles today using the cruise at all speeds and I'm over the moon at how well it works
will take abit of time to get into the swing of using it but a top mod all in all.
One thing to watch is when you deactivate the cruise that you are not holding the throttle on.
Need to ride with the right hand relaxed.
