Mission Statement 		  
  
To promote the life and works of John Lang, the First Australian-born Novelist and the writer of many novels, stories, articles, poems and plays.		   
  
Objectives 		  
  
1		  
To publish or republish all of John Lang's novels and other works in the next ten years. By the year 2016 to have all of John Lang's novels in print at the time of the bicentenary of his birth in Parramatta, New South Wales in December 1816. 		  
  
2		  
To collect and record and make copies of all letters by and to John Lang. 		  
  
3		  
To collect copies of all reviews and criticisms of John Lang's works.		  
  
4		  
To encourage research and publish material on John Lang's life and works. 		  
  
5		  
To establish suitable memorials to John Lang.
