Waterloo Read Me Unzip all the files into a copy of your SMG folder with "use folder names" checked and overwrite any existing files. If you have any problems please visit the Gettysburg Online Society Forum at http://mattslow.proboards37.com/ and you can find more information there. This patch was created by: Colin Jones Jeroen Hill Eric Liebmann with help from a couple of other people who we thank. Hope you enjoy it. ************************************************************* Version 2.4 I have added converted buildings to the battlefield, combinations of graphics for the town graphics, plus un-fenced fields using the small stream & 1 large stream graphics; walls for Hougoumont using 2 large stream graphics; tree lined roads using the bridge graphic and 1 large stream graphic; gardens using the cemetery graphic. I changed some additional flags that show on rallying generals from the ACW versions, corrected some graphics that had colours that show as pink in SMG, added a listmap to display the scenario locations. I have added a lot of named sites to the map to help with randomised scenarios. I have made the rock & boulder graphics invisible. All the walled farms & 4 squares of Hougoumont have "boulders" protection. The 3 eglises, plus Ferme de Cambray, La Belle Alliance, the sand pit, Village Smohain & Chateau de Frichermont have "rocks" protection. There was a horde of extra figures marching from the map edge to units that started with more than 658 men if deployed as a brigade or > 619 if deployed individually (mostly allies). As most of the regiments were deployed individually, I changed many of the allied brigades (and 1 French) to being deployed as a brigade if there was no good reason to do otherwise, plus formed detachment battalions where necessary to hold the overflow of strengths > 658. I have made some other changes to the original scenario, including making most of the 2nd line allied units "in reserve". I have added a randomization line and created 2 new scenarios with randomization lines: Hougoumont & Plancenoit; and a scenario for La Haye. The Prussian sub-folder contains graphics for uniforms, flags etc for Prussia rather than Britain. Copy them into the game folder before playing the Plancenoit scenario. Unzip the download to return to the British files. The Nassau sub-folder contains graphics for uniforms for Nassau troops. Copy these into the game folder before playing the la Haye scenario. Unzip the download to return to the British files. The sounds from the Saratoga battle pack can be used to have some english voices. Graeme http://smx.iblogger.org/SMG.htm
